Senior DTC Copywriter (Ecommerce, Ad Scripts, Landing Pages, AI-Insights)
We're hiring a senior-level DTC copywriter with a proven track record in ecommerce, direct response video scripts, landing page copy, and data-driven messaging.
This is ongoing work — ideally a long-term contract or hourly retainer.
You must be able to:
1. Write high-performance ad scripts
Rip competitor scripts and rebuild better angles
Create 30–120 sec UGC and spokesperson scripts
Build hooks, problem–agitate–solve sequences, transformations, CTA blocks
Match tone for multiple brands (beauty, wellness, supplements, tech, lifestyle)
Iterate and create new ideas off winning existing ad creatives.
2. Build component-level landing page copy
You’ll produce full sections + annotated designer notes, just like this:
Hero headers + subheaders
“5 reasons why” blocks
Problem/solution components
Simplified science summaries
Comparison tables
Offer stacks
Lifestyle imagery notes
FAQs
Final CTA blocks
I give you reference layouts and you write copy + provide clear designer notes (imagery, hierarchy, UI components).
3. Do structured customer-voice research
You must already know (not be learning on the job):
How to mine customer databases
How to prompt AI to extract real customer-voice insights
How to separate signal from noise
How to build angle grids based on objections, transformations, desires
If you’ve never done systematic voice-of-customer extraction, do not apply.
4. Deliver production-ready outputs
You’ll be writing:
YouTube/Meta/TikTok scripts
Hook variations
Landing pages and advertorials
Offer pages
A/B headline matrices
Cross-channel copy bundles
Notes for designers (imagery, component behavior, reference URLs)
I’m not looking for “creative writing.”
I’m looking for performance copy that can be plugged into CRO/ads tests.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have:
✓ 3+ years in DTC ecommerce copywriting
✓ Examples of high-performing scripts and landing pages
✓ Experience with beauty, supplements, wellness, tech, or consumer hardware
✓ Ability to translate customer insights into angles
✓ Ability to use AI as a force multiplier (NOT as a crutch)
✓ Extremely clear communication
✓ Strong references or case studies
Extra points for:
– Experience writing for Shopify brands
– Experience collaborating with designers
– Understanding of NC-ROAS and CRO principles
– Ability to read analytics or at least respect the data logic

Angle discovery sprints
Designer-ready copy packs
